Operating since October of 2009, the UK house and R&B-flavored Well Rounded imprint has released standouts from C.R.S.T. and Hackman, not to mention Deadboy’s (pictured above) breakthrough cut, “U Cheated.” This year, Well Rounded is expanding by launching a sister label called Well Rounded Housing Project. As the name suggests, the new imprint will focus entirely on straight-ahead, throwback house music, releasing vinyl-only 12″s to boot. The label’s first release, expected in April, will be a split 12″ between James Fox and UK producer Leon, the latter of whom remixed funk group Mean Poppa Lean for the record.
