DJ, producer, and visual artist Odd Nosdam has proven himself quite the remixer over the last few years, and now he has compiled many of these tracks onto a release entitled Pretty Swell Explode. The enhanced two-disc sampler finds the man born David Madson getting his hands on the likes of Serena-Maneesh, anticon. labelmates Thee More Shallows, and, here, reworking a Black Moth Super Rainbow track from scratch. On “Forever Heavy,” Jel lends a few of his skills on the drum machine, while Flying Saucer Attack’s Jessica Bailiff contributes some ghostly vocals to the track.
