Volta Cab, whose track “Make You Mine” we posted a week ago, is back with a bootleg reworking of MJ Cole’s “Crazy Love.” On his “Dub Remix” of the classic UK garage tune, the Russian producer born Konstantyn Isaev maintains the original melody (strings and all), but adds in his own steamy beat work. Cracking hand claps and thumping bass kicks work out a dancefloor rhythm front and center, while hand drums beat on the sidelines and cymbals ricochet off the layers of synths pushing the classic ’90s vibes.
