ZZK, the Argentinian imprint borne out of the Zizek club nights in Buenos Aires, has a four-song record (artwork above) from the Mexico-based duo Frikstailers (a.k.a. Rafa Caivano and Lisandro Sona) on the way. They’ve offered up a remix of the title track by Brazilian producer Maga Bo in advance of the Guacha EP’s December 3 release date to whet our palettes for the pair’s eclectic style. “Guacha (Maga Bo Remix)” starts with a low rumble but soon explodes into low-slung bass, deadened percussion, oscillating synths, and two-step percussion with a Latin slant.
