Warsaw producer The Phantom seems to be having a fairly busy 2013 already, with his Piano Moods EP recently dropping via Polish label Your Mama’s Friend and the Silverback-released EP 3 appearing earlier this week. Lifted from that record, “Body Fantastic” is a tune that sees the artist born Bartosz Kruczynski twisting together funky, retro-sounding synths with hip-hop-flavored beats and rough vocal samples. Over the course of five minutes, The Phantom’s synthline blossoms into a multi-layered melody backed by his bouncing beatwork.
