Following a prolific year, industrious Scottish producer and founder of the Echodub and Cut labels DFRNT (a.k.a Alex Cowles, pictured above) already kicked-off 2014 with his free “Dark Blue” single, and is now following it up with a remix of Parjo01‘s “Shadows Dub” cut. Taken from the UK artist’s recently released Shadows EP for Club Soda, the cheery tune fuses layers of flitting and cascading vocals with faint claps that fluidly melt into densely interwoven bass patterns, all of which is complemented by supple waves of aquatic synths.
