As Tel Aviv-based DJ/producer VesperTown prepares to mark his debut for the Donky Pitch label with the forthcoming Kaleidoscope EP, we’re treated to the EP’s closing track, a remix from fellow Donky Pitch affiliate Tokyo Hands. Taking on VesperTown’s “Royal Flash” production, the vibrant rework opens up with resonant chimes before moving into a dancier kit of gleaming chords and choppy vocals. Tokyo Hands’ cheerful remix maintains the playful tone of VesperTown’s original track throughout, buoyantly jaunting across one spirited synth tone to the next until the song’s closing moments. Containing this remix and four originals from VesperTown, the effervescent Kaleidoscope EP is slated to drop on May 19.
