Brooklyn duo High Places has been whetting musical palettes with their ethereal mix of airy pop and lo-fi field recordings, utilizing a technique they like to call "audio scrapbooking." Now, on the heels of their recent 03/07-09/07 release on Thrill Jockey, the pair has embarked on a massive fall tour with Baltimore art-rockers Ponytail. XLR8R recently profiled High Places in the pages of the magazine, so we're thrilled to get involved, now that the band will be livening up an otherwise uneventful Monday night in Portland.
