10 Best XLR8R Podcasts of 2010

This year's podcast section blew up like never before, and it's a testament to the power of the DJ, we suppose, who brings all the fanfare and flourishes of a hot night out to the banal locale of our desktop. Out of the 50+ mixes that premiered on our website over the year, the 10 below are not only the best executed, most unique, and wholly memorable (even controversial at times), but also the sets we personally keep returning to when in need of a solid DJ mix. Enjoy.

10. Soul Clap

9. Mosca

8. DJ Rashad & DJ Spinn

7. Ikonika

6. Girl Unit

5. Matías Aguayo

4. Moby

3. Ben UFO

2. Matthewdavid

1. Bok Bok

I agree with two of these. Don't Shortstuff, Pilooski, Anti-Pop, and Mike 2600 (just to name a few others) ring a bell? They always struck me as diverse, well-rounded, and really eclectic in their song choices; save for Shortstuff which stays within a genre but is simply sick!

You guys might wanna calm on the night slugs love fest, no? That said I really liked the Lil Silva mix.

Ikonika mix was personally the strongest IMO.
