Despite the Independence Day celebrations in the US, it still managed to be a busy week for new bits of audio and video on the internet, and Press Play is here to round up the best of it. Atoms for Peace, Disclosure, Romanthony, The Knife, Dusky, Andrés, Young Echo, and Rone are among the number of artists who have unleashed exclusive premieres, brand-new videos, quality remixes, never-before-heard original productions, full record streams, and more on this week's edition of Press Play. During last month's album launch party on Boiler Room, Disclosure performed its Jessie Ware-featuring "Confess to Me" track, and now, that footage as made it to the internet as a standalone video.
Check out some darkly colorful footage of The Knife's unprecedentedly strange and inventive live show set to the excellent "Raging Lung" single from the Swedish duo's recent Shaking the Habitual LP.
Before it drops as a vinyl package on July 22 via Glasgow Underground (with the digital version coming August 19), this remix of Romanthony's classic "Ministry of Love" single by veteran Detroit DJ/producer Andrés can be heard in full for the first time on XLR8R.
Burgeoning UK house duo Dusky is also giving us a premiere today, sharing its deep "Mr. Man" tune which is set to be released as a single on July 15 via Anjunadeep, as well as appear on the forthcoming Anjunadeep 05 compilation—mixed by Jody Wisternoff and James Grant—on July 22.
