Today, Moog released a new video teasing the company’s latest synthesizer, which is set to be officially introduced to the public during NAMM later this month. The seven-minute video features Bob Moog collaborator, synth pioneer, and professor Herb Deutsch taking us through the features of the new synth as it sits on a table with its bare circuitboards and knobs out in the open. From the looks of it, the unit appears to have a two-octave keyboard and no digital controls, in addition to a new “multi-drive” function as part of the filter section. In truth, Deutsch himself explains it better while he leads us through the next piece of Moog lineage in expert, synth-nerd fashion.
