Propellerhead Announces Reason 7

Propellerhead has announced it will be rolling out an updated version of its widely used Reason software in the weeks to come, today providing a video with the first glimpses of Reason 7. While the video brushes over many of the specific details, it does highlight some major improvements in the forthcoming piece of software, including new MIDI out capabilities, automatic beat slicing and audio quantize, enhanced mixer tools, a more comprehensive sound library, and a new virtual-vintage effect, the "The Audiomatic Retro Transformer." The Reason 7 announcement video can be viewed below. At this point, no exact release date for the program has been shared.
