Elektron Reveals New Analog Rytm Drum Machine

With only a few days left before the annual NAMM conference gets underway, Elektron has unveiled Analog Rytm, a forthcoming "eight-voice drum computer." Although the full details of the Analog Rytm unit have yet to be shared, the box's teaser video (below) points out some of the drum machine's key features, including that it is an eight-voice analog drum machine with sample support that features an analog filter and analog distortion per voice. In addition, the video points out that the Analog Rytm will come with 12 velocity- and pressure-sensitive pads, reverb and delay send effects, analog master compression and distortion, and a "world-class" Elektron step sequencer. The forthcoming unit also boasts something the company has deemed "performance-oriented beat control." The full details of Elektron's new drum machine are expected to arrive later this week.
