Haling from the land of Linstrom and Prins Thomas (that's Norway, in case you didn't know), Joachim Dyrdahl is fast becomming another Scandinavian face to watch on the house and techno front. His releases under the diskJokke name have been picked up by Get Physical, Prins Thomas' Full Pupp imprint, and for his debut album, Smalltown Supersound. Fun fact: He is about to finish eight years in mathematical studies.

Cadence Weapon returns, this time with his Epitaph/Anti- debut Afterparty Babies. The man born Roland Pemberton handled both MC and production responsibilities for the album, which he proclaims is a "dance-rap party epic" dedicated to "all the accidents out there."
As if you hadn't heard of Cut Copy by now. The Melbourne, Australia-based trio exploded upon the music world with its 2004 debut, Bright Like Neon Love. Since then, the boys have been hard at work perfecting their disco-flavored indie rock, and In Ghost Colours, their latest long-player, finds more of the same, only bigger in sound and faster in speed.
After the release of 2005's Sunburnt Eyelids, Kel Mckeown, better known as Kelpe went on a three-year hiatus in search of sound on the lake shores of Europe. Ex-Aquarium, his forthcoming full-length for DC, is the result of this time, and full of echoes, sparse drums, humming synths, and cracks and crunches galore.
This Tokyo-based trio just debuted in 2007 with the 20-track, beat-heavy Cycling EP, in addition to numerous gigs and spots on compilations. Percussion is the name of the game for Super Smoky Soul, whether it's live drums, programmed ones, pounded keyboards and synths, and even the vocals, which, though sparse, provide their own unique beat.
Daedelus shows off his production chops and his good citizenship with this new track, a disco-flavored, rap-infused house number. Part of his Fire Magic Blood side project, the track features Shafiq Husayn and Taz Arnold, and, of course, shows support for Barack Obama on this Super Tuesday.
