Download: Matias Aguayo "Bo Jack (Vocal) feat. Lady Bumbox"

Label: Comème

Matias Aguayo just keeps getting weirder. Here, he vocalizes insanely over deep, demanding kicks, a one-note bass pulse, and some extremely dry snares. In other words, the Chilean native pretends to be a very tweaked 303 over rhythms that could have come from his Closer Musik collaboration. Engagingly strange, this one, sure to get heads bobbing and asses shaking.

Download: Lokai "Salvador"

Creaking and clanging like a weathered ship drifting through a tar pit somewhere in the Far East, this track from the Austrian duo's latest effort, Transition, fits together bits and pieces of finger-picked guitar, vibraphone, and an abundance of dripping electronic noises before slowly sinking to its final resting place.

Download: Daniel Haaksman "Pobum Coco"

Label: Man

A rad little piece of cheeky fun from Man Recordings label boss Daniel Haaksman. Great electro drums and handclaps fuse together with a ridiculous Spanish guitar and some whistling. High-energy stuff from the original Gostoso EP that recently received superb remixes from Sharkslayer on the remix EP

Download: Chrissy Murderbot "Where's My Footworkin'? (TC remix)"

Label: Sleazetone

Chrissy Murderbot has been hot on our radar as of late and this dubbed-out remix of a Caspa remix from drum and bass producer TC (a.k.a. Tom Casswell) has got a little bump, grind, and then some.

Download: Pollyn "Gave It Up (Peter Visti remix)"

Label: Indie

A guru in in the Balearic Disco department, Denmark's Peter Visti gets his hands dirty with this single from the Pollyn tribe by sprucing it up with a fine mist of new wave veneer and pop sheen. Dark synth progressions and disco vibes clash with the neon pinks and blues and flashing lights from some seedy discotheque from the early '80s. If the Italians Do It Better banner ever have a sequel planned for the After Dark comp, this track would fit nicely between Glass Candy and Chromatics.

Download: Deep Rooted "Closer (prod. Exile)"

The self-proclaimed "feel good" hip-hop collective, San Diego's Deep Rooted, lives up to its personal mantra on the soulful "Closer." The bouncy jam, immaculately produced by L.A.'s beat veteran Exile, comes just in time to get the remainder of your summertime cookouts started with its warm church organ samples and crisp hand claps.
