Download: Scottie B & King Tut "African Chant (Top Billin Remix)"

Finnish DJ/production/remix collective Top Billin showed its versatile tastes last year, with a mix that rounded up tracks by everyone from Jesse Rose to Sharkslayer. The crew is soon to roll out Tales from Top Billin Vol. 3, the third and final episode in this particular trilogy, and another fine collection of original tracks and remixes, including this take on Scottie B's B-more club sound. Download: Memory Tapes "Bicycle"

Label: Acephale

One lone producer from New Jersey recently joined his two personalities—Memory Cassette and Weird Tapes—to form Memory Tapes. If this track is anything to go by, the result is rather impressive. The melodic, haunted, and somewhat paranoid track "Bicycle," an amalgamation of guitar chords, synth-laden basslines, cowbells, choruses, and a host of other sounds, is the first single off the forthcoming Memory Tapes album.

Download: Terry Lynn & Johan Hugo "Jamaican Girls"

Kingston, Jamaica-based artist Terry Lynn teamed up with production aficionado Johan Hugo (of globally inspired dance duo Radioclit) for this track, a number commissioned by a rather well-known export of Jamaica, Red Stripe Beer. The hip-hop-meets-dancehall "Jamaican Girls" is one of five tunes available on the project's album, It was Written. Grab the rest here.

Download: Faunts "Feel.Love.Thinking.Of. (Lemonade Remix)"

Shoegaze just got a whole lot more tropical. The Lemonade boys—who released their debut album and made a move to New York City in the last six months—put their remixing skills to good use with this very danceable version of Faunts' "Feel.Love.Thinking.Of."

Download: Pissed Jeans "False Jesii Part 2"

Label: Sub Pop

Pissed Jeans is back with another album, its third full-length, King of Jeans. As with 2007's Hope for Men, the boys seem hell-bent on reviving the noisy hardcore sound with the new record. We can't understand a word being sung here, which is exactly what you'd expect from this guitar-shredding quartet. King of Jeans is out August 18.
