Ahead of the forthcoming release of its debut EP for Barcelona’s Tracy label, Spanish duo We Like Turtles has offered to give away this exclusive track. So named because of its sample, “I Can Luv U Crazy” straddles a nebulous boundary between two genres; its hard-stepping kicks and punchy bassline are wholly house-oriented, while its scraping hi-hats are entirely rooted in garage sounds. The mixture of garage and house may be an oft-used formula, but the simultaneously danceworthy and classically reverent sounds of “I Can Luv U Crazy” prove that the mixture still packs plenty of potency.
