Although Youandewan hasn’t exactly been the most prolific producer to rise within the UK scene, the Leeds resident has still managed to carve a respected reputation for himself by consistently delivering dense house tunes that effortlessly roll through moody chords and gooey synths. But perhaps 2013 is a year of change for Youandewan, as the man has already announced a forthcoming EP for the trendsetting Hypercolour label (preivew that here), and is also set to appear on Channel Zoo’s upcoming label compilation with the subdued yet soulful “East Response.” Look for that tune to officially drop alongside contributions from the likes of Axel Bowman, Kerri Chandler, and more when the simply titled Channel Zoo Compilation 001 releases on February 4.
