When their forces are combined, Juno Sutton, MTD, and Dutty Dan seem keen on delivering something heavy for the dancefloor. “Block 123,” the lead tune from the artists’ forthcoming collaborative digital EP, begins as a stripped-back shuffler complete with a few chords and chopped vocal samples. The tune builds in careful steps, adding a jumpy kick and a handful a drums before dropping in the bottomless bassline which keeps the track moving for the rest of its run. The trio’s PCDR004 EP will drop May 5 with “Block 123” joined by a solo tune from Sutton and another collaboration between MTD and Dutty Dan.
