Outboxx "Jewel City"
Bristol-based duo Outboxx sent over the upbeat and smooth "Jewel City" jam ahead of the release of its debut LP via Idle Hands on April 22. During Bubblin' Up Week 2013, XLR8R spoke with producer Jacob Martin, who said that the music he and Matthew Lambert (Outboxx's other half) produce together is "pretty much jam-based" and the end result of the two artists "just having fun." It's a notion that translates well on "Jewel City," as the beat-heavy tune is chock full of carefree vocal samples, deep-grooving bass tones, and bubbly rhythms.
