Resident PAN experimentalist Lee Gamble has offered up a haunting rework of London outfit PANES‘ debut single, “Choice Errors.” Maiming the jazz-inflected original cut with layers of echoing vocals and red-line percussion, Gamble harnesses lead singer (and daughter of Neneh Cherry) Tyson McVey’s sensual performance as a textural element for his violent, minimalist vision. The original “Choice Errors” tune—a soaring soul number with organic, sampled instrumentation—can be streamed after the jump. (via FACT)
