Returning from a year-long silence, the Silverback label has rebooted with Piri Piri‘s colorful Patterns EP. Featured here, “Ice Cream” boasts the talent of Londoner Sally Crumb, and revamps swift cuts of choppy, eccentric vocals into rhythmic instruments. Brightly cascading synth arrangements are juxtaposed with resonant drum constructions on “Ice Cream,” creating a diverse assortment of textures throughout the rich arrangement. Alongside Piri Piri’s own vivid tunes, the recently released seven-track effort features remixes from the likes of Visionist, Matthias Zimmermann, Neana, and Jean Nipon.
