Vienna-based newcomer MOTSA (a.k.a. Valerio Dittrich, pictured above) has given local duo Julian & der Fux‘s recently released “Unglaublich” track (meaning “incredible,” when translated from German) a punchy new makeover. Lifted from the pair’s Hin Und Weg EP, MOTSA’s remix immediately distinguishes itself from the understated original version with booming doses of live-played percussion driving the track in its new form. The rework then cranks up the pace further with wide-reaching detuned synth lines that bring the song to a new intensity before it eventually finishes off on a lighter note. “Unglaublich (MOTSA Remix)” will be released in digital and vinyl formats via the Jhruza label this Friday.
