One of three remixes set to appear on an upcoming remix EP for Belgian outfit Arsenal, UK producer Aashton‘s rework of “Temul (Lie Low)” reshapes the dark, cinematic pop tune into a driving club affair. Pulled from the group’s Furu LP (released earlier this year), fragments of Arsenal’s original track are refitted between a pumping four-on-the-floor and infectious hand-percussion patterns, on top of which Aashton places a few ethereal vocal phrases (in fact, those of Danish vocalist Lydmor, who features on the original track). Out this week, Arsenal’s Temul (Lie Low) Remixes EP includes additional refixes from Belgian acts Faisal and Vuurwerk.
