Barcelona’s Galaktika imprint has started its 2015 out with a five-track compilation which celebrates the Spanish label’s nine years of releasing music. Appropriately titled IX Years Celebration, the collection includes Berlin producer Sasse‘s edit of “Fear Test,” a track which appeared on Garnica‘s Fool Again LP for the label back in 2013. On his edit, Sasse largely leaves the cooled-off vibes of the original “Fear Test” intact, keeping the focus on the tune’s breezy melodies and buttery bassline while lacing the tune with a thickened disco bounce and a more atmospheric touch. Sasse’s eight-plus-minute edit of “Fear Test” can be downloaded below, where a full stream of Galaktika’s IX Years Celebration comp can also be found.
