We last heard from Konstruktiv label boss, Rekord 61, last April when he shared his remix of label newcomer BuRu. At he end of the month, Rekord 61 and Konstruktiv will return with the release of Vremya, a four-track EP which lands backed by a remix from Rolando. Vremya is driven along by Rekord 61’s gritty rhythms, with his three originals all employing slamming drum lines to great affect. Pulled from the release is “Iskra,” a hazy techno cut with gradually evolving percussion, a booming low end, and fluttering synth work, which fittingly rounds out the EP. “Iskra” can be downloaded for free below, with the full EP available for purchase here.
