Jeff McIlwain (a.k.a. Lusine) already impressed us with 2004’s Serial Hodgepodge full-length and a series of 12”s. His sound has been meticulously crafted to equally emphasize the precise quirk of IDM and the dancing compulsion of techno, but now the time has come for a remix album.
Lesbian Power Hor Holy Mountain
Although it's far from a typical XLR8R Top Ten entry, Lesbian has made the cut. Power Hor is a four song journey into the hellish side of psychedelia, with layer upon layer of guitar distortion, prog-scales, and traditional metal drumming. Featuring cover art from Sunn 0)))'s Stephen O'Malley, Power Hor has us scared for our lives.
Most know him as one member of Animal Collective, but Noah Lennox has been creating his own brand of psychedelic revival tunes under the Panda Bear moniker for some years, as well as cultivating his fanaticism for animals. On the video for his track "Bros," he combines both elements to make a video fit for an LSD trip, but just as good to watch while sober.

UK sound system Clash Hi-Fi has taken its collection of mixes, sound tape archive,s and radio broadcasts to the web on its multifaceted Soundclash.org site. The London-based, French DJ duo of Augui and Flex host weekly reggae shows on the site (Wednesday 9-11pm GMT) that cover the gambit of new and vintage roots, lovers rock, and dub, all available 24-7 via their pop-up imbedded Clash Player or as a Podclash link.
