The fledgling dance label conceived by Nottingham genre juggler Matthew Cutler (a.k.a. Lone), Magic Wire, just announced it will soon be dropping its third record, a two-song 12″ by newcomer Neon Jung. Though some may recognize producer Tom Brayford-Watson from his earlier work as the hip-hop experimentalist Keaver & Brause, or as part of the blunted beat duo Kona Triangle (with Cutler), this new moniker finds the artist focusing solely on the dancefloor, albeit with a interestingly skewed perspective. You can hear snippets of Jung’s “Just Can’t Leave it Alone” b/w “Too Many Facets” 12″ before it’s released on May 16, below.
