Eliot Lipp Preps Mush Debut

Eliot Lipp will join the likes of Caural, Nobody, and Busdriver on the Mush roster with the release of his latest album, The Outside. A recent bulletin from the Brooklyn-based producer states that techno and hip-hop continue to influence Lipp's music, and that the new album will be "something that is both recognizable and completely futuristic." Not that it really matters how The Outside gets pigeonholed, since most of what Lipp touches is golden. Read more »

Gear Alert: iDJ2 Put To The Test

Numark’s remarkable solo-iPod iDJ2 DJ mixing console was announced in January 2007, made its official debut at gear conventions in August, and was finally released for public consumption September 10. So how does it perform? We’d like to know, but so far the major gear-review web portals such as Gizmodo and CNET are bereft of anything more than cursory feature lists and PR-provided photos.
