Gaiser Raises Some 'Static' on Minus

It's hard not to root for young Martin Kemp. Aside from the fact that he makes amazing tunes and is also a top-notch DJ—remember that ridiculously excellent podcast from late last year?—he's also a bit of an underdog. Even Shortstuff and his big brother Brackles, who run the Blunted Robots label they all call home, enjoy poking a little fun at Kemp the younger. Yet all the teasing aside, Martin Kemp is a truly innovative producer, whose liberal use of tropical percussion gives his brand of UK funky/house/garage/whatever-you-call-it an infectiously distinctive feel.
