Last Friday, we reviewed the new I Felt Fuzzy EP that British beats producer Kelpe released via Svetlana, and now we have a music video for that record’s title track. The piece—which was directed and edited by Jonathan Lieb, with effects done by Filip Stanfeld—instills a smudged, retro television aesthetic as we follow a lonely kite flickering in and out of airplane footage and kaleidoscopic images that are bursting with color. The visuals manage to portray the luau-on-acid vibe of Kelpe’s “I Felt Fuzzy” tune quite well, further cementing the producer as an artist to watch within the same camp of Brainfeeder and One Handed Music (particularly the work of Bullion).
