While we wait for Lukid‘s Lonely at the Top to appear on October 22, courtesy of Actress’ Werk Discs imprint, the producer has posted the video for “USSR,” a drifting cut taken from said LP. Composed of a freeform assemblage of bouncing pixels and colors that play off the perspiration on a person’s skin, the video is a solid match to Lukid’s album, which he’s described as “a complete mess and totally distorted” due to the haywire production methods that were used. To be sure, “USSR” is still a pleasant tune with an ambling bassline and mellowed vocal samples, all of which is respectably reminiscent of the calmer moments on Actress’ excellent R.I.P. album.
