Nancy Whang Preps Collection of Disco Reworks for Gomma

Longtime DFA affiliate Nancy Whang has lent her signature vocals to projects like The Juan MacLean and LCD Soundsystem, as well as tracks by Soulwax and Classixx, but she has yet to properly step out as an artist in her own right. Her forthcoming collection for German house outfit Gomma offers a step in that direction, as Whang has teamed up with a variety of producers to rework classic disco tracks originally released on the legendary Casablanca label. Warehouse Project Reveals Full 2014 Line-Up

Earlier this summer, Manchester's The Warehouse Project shared the news that it would be returning to its "spiritual home" this year before marking its 10-year anniversary in 2015. This September, the party series will be setting up shop at the storied Store Street venue (which once served as an air raid shelter under Piccadilly station) for 12 weeks, and the organizers have just unveiled the full season line-up.
