Annie Signs to Smalltown Supersound

Electro-pop chanteuse Annie has signed to the eminently popular Smalltown Supersound label, and her sophomore record drops on November 17. Sian Alice Group Tours U.K., U.S.

Looks like the psych-blues haze and Afro-tech clomp of the Sian Alice Group will sweep through the U.K. before crossing over the Atlantic to American territory for a fall tour in support of the band's latest on The Social Registry, Troubled, Shaken, Etc.. Tim Saccenti Mounts First Solo Show

The photographer/filmmaker behind the floating cube of mirrors in Battles' "Atlas" video and the bodiless ears and noses in Jamie Lidell's "Another Day" video has received his first solo exhibition.
