Listen to the New EP From ZZK's Frikstailers

The latest addition to ZZK's growing stable of cumbia futurists is Argentina's Frikstailers (pronounced "freak stylers"). The duo has already put together a mixtape for its new label, and just today, released the four-song Bicho de Luz EP. The Big Pink to Mix !K7's Second Installment of 'Tapes'

Following the first Tapes mix album put together by The Rapture for !K7, the second installment of the series will be out on November 9 courtesy of London-based electronic pop duo The Big Pink. One of the fellas from that group, Milo Cordell, put together a list of 19 songs that traverse the realms of witch house, bass music, lo-fi experimentalists, and other forward-thinking genres. Squarepusher to Drop Shobaleader One Mini-Album on Warp

At the beginning of last month, we got the strange news that bassist and electronic music mastermind Tom Jenkinson (a.k.a. Squarepusher) would be releasing an EP with Parisian label Ed Banger under a new name, Shobaleader One. Hamburg-based DJ/producer Tensnake was just recently the subject of an XLR8R Audiofile, and is now taking the esteemed position of mixmaster for the latest installment of Defected Records' In the House mix series. Radio Slave to Mix Upcoming 'Strictly Rhythms Vol. 5'

Over two deftly mixed discs of tasteful dance music, Berliner Matt Edwards (a.k.a. Radio Slave) will present the latest installment of the Strictly Rhythms mix album series from New York's Strictly Rhythm label. Each disc of the release will push its own unique vibe or tweak on the classic house sound; the first CD, dubbed Strictly Downtown Mix, has a moodier, late-night feel, and its Strictly Uptown Mix accompaniment is an upbeat affair.
