Cómeme Announces Philipp Gorbachev 'DJ Edits' Collection

Back in June, Philipp Gorbachev delivered his debut LP, Silver Album, via the Cómeme label. A self-imposed Russian exile who currently works in Berlin, Gorbachev recorded much of the album at The District Union (a studio space shared by a number of Cómeme artists), and enlisted the collaborative talents of Paul Leary (of alt-rock outfit Butthole Surfers), Battles drummer John Stanier, Cómeme labelmate Daniel Maloso, and Ostgut Ton affiliate Tobias Freund. Now, Cómeme has announced that a remix collection is underway, which will see five of Gorbachev's original tracks reinterpreted by the likes of recent XLR8R podcast contributor Danny Daze, JD Twitch, and label head Matías Aguayo.
