Atmosphere Plots Another Tour

It's been a big couple of years for Atmosphere, what with the release of their sixth full-length, When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold, and the reissue of 2002's God Loves Ugly. Slug and Ant will wrap the summer up with a final tour in support of the latter, hitting various U.S. cities and many a festival, including Red Rocks, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands. Eyedea & Abilities and Attracted to the Gods will join the tour at various locations.

Etana Takes on North America

Much buzz blew through the reggae world in 2008 when roots songstress Etana announced her debut album, The Strong One, which she released via VP. Now we can look forward to a large handful of shows in support of the album. She'll take her always conscious and sometimes heartbreaking tunes through the left half of the U.S. and Canada this summer at these shows:

Jay Haze to Help DR Congo

He might be mixing the latest edition of the esteemed Fabric compilation series, but that's not necessarily what Jay Haze is talking about these days. The house and techno producer is planning a DJ tour around the world, with proceeds going towards relief efforts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Kompakt's Total 10 Announced

Kompakt's 10th annual Total compilation is due this summer, on August 10.

The double-disc will feature a slew of new and exclusive tracks, as well as some of the label's best releases from the last year. As far as the cast of characters goes, the usual suspects all get airtime on the release, from the old guard (Michael Mayer, DJ Koze, Wolfgang Voigt) to the newbies (Gui Boratto, The Field). It's totally techno time, folks.
