Video Premiere: Sieren "Break of Dawn"
- Words: Brandon O'Connor
The fourth installment of Project:Mooncircle's Faces series will be a split effort between Russian-based producer Lomovolokno and up-and-coming German producer Sieren, the latter of which has just sent over this video for "Break of Dawn." Coming as the opener for Sieren's side of the record, "Break of Dawn" moves about slowly and thoughtfully, punctuated by sorrowful beats and a longing voice that curtsies around like a feather caught in the wind. The video similarly carries an emotional weight. Shot in black and white, we see a young man (presumably Sieren), standing, staring, and smoking a cigarette. Eventually, the clip ends up looking like a part of some bizarre anti-smoking campaign, as the young man coughs for air and falls to the ground, the cigarette rolling away onto the cold pavement.
