Miles Whittaker’s production credits have spanned a wide range of solo and collaborative projects over the years, most notably working as one-half of Demdike Stare, whose prolific stream of output has helped define the Modern Love catalog in recent years. Now, Whittaker has announced plans to issue his proper debut solo album—the first under his own name—readying the Faint Hearted LP for release early next month. As FACT reports, the record “promises to reflect the full range of Whittaker’s interests,” incorporating everything from “robust and stripped techno to washed-out jungle and ambient mutations” during its run. Faint Hearted will see a release through Modern Love on April 8. In the meantime, the forthcoming record’s artwork and tracklist can be viewed below.
