With the release of their upcoming Live LP a little more than a month away—it’s officially scheduled for release on April 15, although the digital version is on sale now—James Ford and Jas Shaw (a.k.a. Simian Mobile Disco) have elected to stoke our collective excitement further by sending over this studio-recorded live rendition of “Interference.” Prepared for the duo’s live shows before a recent run of gigs in Europe, this one-off—which originally appeared on last year’s XLR8R Pick’d Unpatterns LP—gets an extended edit, keeping elements from the original, yet allowing for enough dynamics to offer an enjoyably fresh listen.
