Artist Chart: Escort

It’s not everyday that a group offers up humanized disco the way that Brooklyn-based outfit Escort does. Featuring all live instrumentation by upwards of over 20 members, this collective churns out late night, falsetto bangers for the loose-limbed and uninhibited. Only a few EPs into its career, the band has already garnered acclaim from Ewan Pearson and Trevor Jackson, while earning remix points for the likes of Tracey Thorn and Morgan Geist.

Trentemøller Remixes, Reignites

Danish producer Anders Trentemøller is set to release a collection entitled The Trentemøller Chronicles, featuring a bounty of rare and unreleased tracks, in addition to a batch of remixes. He is also preparing to take on North America with a live full-band storm. Those lucky enough to be in any of the nine cities getting hit will have a chance to see how the producer's dark ambiance translates into the live arena.

Tour: Final Fantasy

Violin virtuoso and Arcade Fire member Owen Pallet is embarking on one hell of a tour as Final Fantasy. After his appearance at the Calgary Folk Festival last weekend, Pallet set the precedent for a dynamic autumn. Traversing through Sweden, France, and the UK, the Canadian post-folk posterboy will then loop through Canada and the greater part of the States. Playing a majority of shows with hip-hop artisan Cadence Weapon, Final Fantasy may bridge the gap between musical genius and party time.
