Now, out of nowhere, Chicago footwork mavens DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn, alongside Bay Area upstart Taso, have jumped into the equation, operating together as Teklife to deliver a sped-up and frenetic remix of Snoop Dogg's and Dâm Funk's "Do My Thang." Lobster Theremin Announces New Black Label Series

Though it only has a discography of five records, London label Lobster Theremin has quickly carved out a niche for itself. It's sound is noisy and abrasive, with rugged hardware-centric tones provided by the likes of Palm Trax, Steve Murphy, and Snow Bone.
