Earlier this year, Chicago producer Thug Entrancer (a.k.a. Ryan McRhyhew) mixed footwork, IDM, and analog hardware on Death After Life, his potently creative LP debut on Software. Now he’s revisiting that album with a video for “Death After Life VI,” an atmospheric track that split off from that record’s dominant juke-centric theme. The tune’s new visual accompaniment comes courtesy of director Sabrina Ratté, who translates the song’s trippy edge into a computer-generated maze that snakes through hallways of warping psychedelia.
