Check Out Matthew Dear's DJ Set from Sónar 2014

Earlier this month Ghostly mainstay Matthew Dear took to the decks at Barcelona's Sónar festival (our full review of which can be read here) putting together a performance for his Audion project during Sónar by Day, as well as a DJ set under his own name for Sónar by Night. Now, a recording of the latter set has surfaced.

Spanning just over 90 minutes, Matthew Dear's DJ set for the Spanish festival is said to have utilized four Native Instruments Traktor decks, an Elektron Octatrack, the Eventide Space and Time Factor units, and one Allen & Heath Xone: 92 mixer. Though coming without an official tracklist, the mix appears to cover a wide range of percussion-heavy grooves as well as a selection of deep, Detroit-indebted techno exercises. Dear's full DJ set from Sónar 2014 can be heard below, or downloaded for the price of one's email here.
