Aïsha Devi Announces New 12" for Danse Noire, Preview It Now

Aïsha Devi has detailed a return to her own emergent Danse Noire label, with a 12" of hypnotic machine meditations. As Kate Wax, the Swiss-born, half-Tibetan producer put forward post-pop synth experiments via outlets like Mental Groove and Border Community, but more recent work under her own name, beginning with last year's debut EP, Aura 4 Everyone, emerges out of a "dedication to deep meditation and using her machines to heighten the transcendence." On "Hakken Dub," Devi's vocals spiral around a "160 bpm gabber tribute anthem," and "Throat Dub (Tool)" is a blistering, long-form drone cut. The two original tracks are treated to reworks by Opal Tapes affiliate IVVVO and vanguard Mathematics label head Hieroglyphic Being.

Hakken Dub/Throat Dub is officially due out on July 21 and can be previewed below, where a tracklist has also been posted.

1. Hakken Dub
2. Throat Dub (Tool)
3. Hakken Dub (IVVVO Remix)
4. Throat Dub (The Hieroglyphic Being Experience 9)
