Spectral Sound Announces New EP from Patricia; Hear a Track Now

Following the release of the excellent Body Issues cassette via Opal Tapes last year (a record that was eventually chosen to launch the label's vinyl offshoot), Brooklyn producer Patricia has revealed plans to issue a new EP via Ghostly's Spectral Sound imprint next month. Containing three new original productions and a remix from Ghostly veteran Tadd Mullinix under his JTC alias—under which he delivered an exclusive XLR8R podcast earlier this year—Patricia's forthcoming Side Piece EP is said to be "built from cinderblock kick drums, soot-covered modular synths, hissy tape recordings, and equal parts early Aphex Twin and Underground Resistance."

Slated to drop on August 25, the EP's muffled lead cut, "Drip Dawn," can be streamed in full below, where the full tracklist for Patricia's Spectral Sound debut has also been included.

01 Drip Dawn
02 Hulderhusan
03 Foie Gras
04 Drip Dawn (JTC's I-94 Lick)
