Flying Lotus Releases, Attacks

On October 2, Flying Lotus' Warp debut Reset hit the streets. But unlike most EPs, this bleep-heavy offering is being celebrated with Attack, an interactive videogame set to Lotus’ spacey hip-hop. Available through the producer’s website, Attack is essentially a recreation of Space Invaders, with the ability to send missles flying into weird pyramids, ghosts, and the occasional dusty star.

With Urban Outfitters’ design teams replicating Slayer shirts and Etnies’ Altamant fashion division releasing a Jimi Hendrix artwork series, there’s no denying the ever-growing, and usually ridiculous, “I’m down with vintage rock” fashion trend that’s been surfacing over the past few years.
