Xiu Xiu at Bottom of the Hill, S.F.

XLR8R headed out to Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco this past Saturday to see Jamie Stewart and his Xiu Xiu outfit perform. The band ran through several songs off their recently released Women as Lovers album, accompanied by an arsenal of drums, symbols, guitars, and Stewart's erratic singing, which held the audience rapt for the duration of the show (except for the person who screamed something about Denny's during one of the quieter moments of the set).
