Genesis P-Orridge is better than the Beatles
- Words: Jennifer Marston
At 59, the visionary provocateur finally seems to have found peace.
Just prior to a recent San Francisco show by the reunited Throbbing Gristle, we sat down with Genesis to talk about her very long, very strange, and very influential trip.

I'm sorry, but give it a rest.
he's a shallow attention getting bore. he might have had some creative ideas once, but he's so burned out now, that he's worthless. if you insist on focusing on TG, do some articles on peter christopherson (his new soisong is fucking amazing) and chris & cosey are -and have always been- solid and reliable. they seem to have their egos in check.

there is no artist who is more over rated that g-porridge. to use his or her own words, i wonder if it's odd for g. p. to be trapped in the identity of a trailer trash soccer mom who addicted to plastic surgery? also, only in your egocentric acid damaged brain, will T.G. ever be better than the beatles but i find it interesting that G.P. thinks that's important.

I really liked this episode, it was well done.
In all honesty, never got into Throbbing Gristle back in the day, but recognize their contributions. Genesis P-Orridge always is an interesting interview, I saw one a year ago that was really disturbing but I can't remember who the interview was for.

Gen wishes he had the publishing royalties for 1 Lennon/McCartney song such as "Baby, You're A Rich Man". Pedantic, Pretentious, P-Orridge !!!
