Oh my…how time flies. Last February, sitting over a beer and discussing the possibility of hosting a monthly at re-bar, we could never have imagined this party being what it is now. From a Detroit legend laying down a 3 hr set in a room that felt like a high school gym, to a surprise B2B set from Bonobo and Dauwd, to the Giegling label bosses playing Rhye at 10 am to a dance floor of 8 people, to local talent, fresh and veteran, pushing the boundaries of house and techno at our Re-Bar monthly…the past 12 months have been nothing short of extraordinary.
Our March installment will usher in a new year of events for Grounded that we hope will inspire and challenge the local community to embrace a more long-form approach to the club experience.
That's right, 2016 is the year of all open to close sets.
Kicking off our second season will be none other than the Scissor and Thread label bosses Frank & Tony. The productions of Francis Harris and Anthony Collins have been largely influential on the sound and vibe on which Grounded was founded and we could not be more excited to be hosting them for their Northwest debut.
Join us for an evening of intimate and deep house music vibrations.
